Description
Moong Halwa is a warm, comforting Indian dessert made from yellow split moong dal (lentils) that’s cooked to perfection with ghee, sugar, and a variety of aromatic spices. The dal is first soaked, then ground into a coarse paste and cooked in ghee until it’s soft and slightly golden. As it simmers, the sweetness of sugar is added, giving the halwa its rich flavor.
